Fleet Administrative Assistant Job at Altus Materials

This position is responsible for supporting our Altus Materials company by maintaining accurate reports, payroll, billing, processing repair invoices, verifying data, and ensuring accuracy of information.

Responsibilities:

  • Setup repair orders in TMT system, for Preventive Maintenance (PM’s) for both inhouse and vendor repairs.
  • Review and finalize PM repair orders from our shop locations. Work closely with the Parts Department and mechanics, to ensure all parts and labor time are billed out on repair orders.
  • Assist in Payroll.
  • Generate invoices for freight hauled for customers.
  • Ordering shop lubes, lubes, and minor parts.
  • Perform various other duties as assigned by manager.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma required, associate degree in Accounting, Business Management or other related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of truck/vehicle components helpful.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to make appropriate decisions working within established guidelines.
  • Must have good phone, computer and typing skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
