• Full Time Cook (Full-Service Restaurant): 10:30am-7:00pm, with occasional 11:30am-8pm & 6:30am-3pm shifts, up to $19.84 per hour.
• Full Time Lead Servers: 6:30am-3pm or 11:30am-8pm up to $15.11 per hour (and up $19.84 per hour filling in for weekend Cook shifts!)
  
• Full Time Servers: 6:30am-3pm or 11:30am-8pm up to $14.64 per hour. (No experience required.)
• Part Time Servers: 4-8pm up to $12.50 per hour. (Must be at least 15 years of age. No experience required.)

We are looking for energetic, pleasant, and service-oriented people to join our dynamic culinary services team!

Cook Responsibilities:

• Prepares daily menu items as needed, following proper food handling techniques using SERV Safe standards.
• Maintains cooking equipment and performs daily cleaning duties.

Cook Qualifications:

• At least one year of prior cooking experience is required; preferably in a restaurant or country club setting.
• Culinary arts degree and line cooking or ala carte experience preferred.
• Experience with special diets and/or working in a health care setting helpful for Health Care Center position.
• SERV Safe Certification and exhibition cooking or catering experience helpful.

Server Responsibilities:

• Bus and reset tables as needed.
• Serve residents their meals in a timely manner.
  
• Responsible for all aspects of dining room operations. (Lead)
  
• Follows and enforces established Dining and Infection Control policies and procedures, etc. (Lead)
• Cooking responsibilities on the weekend preparing meal items according to specifications, using recipes and production sheets. (Lead)

Server Qualifications:

• Prior food service experience is helpful but not required.
• Related experience preferred in food service and coordinating dining room operations. (Lead)
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets and proper food handling, SERV Safe Certification preferred. (Lead)

Vaccination Statement: Tel Hai Retirement Community requires all employees to receive their annual flu shot and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless he/she has an approved medical or religious exemption. Upon hire, an employee must have their flu shot and their first dose of a two-dose series COVID-19 vaccination. Their second dose must be received within 6 weeks of hire.
