Freight Handler/Forklift Operator Job at Suffolk Cold Storage
Receives stores and distributes product within the warehouse by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following;
- Reading and following procedures while performing assigned task
- Loads and unloads product onto trailers and/or containers using Material Handling Equipment.
- Counts weights of product using hand held scanning equipment.
- Attaches and identifies labels or tags on product that is marked for a certain explanation
- Applies and removes spacers so the product has the ability to properly freeze
- Lifts heavy objects by hand or with Material Handling Equipment
- Takes the temperature of product being received and/or shipped
- Must have clean driving record
