JOB TITLE: Receptionist
LOCATION: Balcones Distilling – Waco, TX
POSITION TYPE: Full-time; Hourly

RESPONSIBILITIES

2. Provide outstanding customer service to guests, staff and vendors
3. Help maintain a safe, clean and well-organized environment
4. Perform distillery opening duties Monday through Friday
5. Proficient in google suite (sheets, drive, email, business, etc.)
6. Answer and monitor the main phone line at the distillery taking messages and directing guests and vendors to the appropriate contact.
7. Monitor, answer and forward messages that come from guests to info@ email address
8. Ensure there are always sufficient disposables on hand for the Visitor Center. Monitor and maintain a standard inventory.
9. Place orders for supply requests from the Director of Retail, FOH Manager and Head Bartender as requested.
10. Ensure there is a sufficient standing inventory of shipping supplies.

11. Monitor and maintain cleanliness of breakroom. Run dishwasher at the end of the day and empty in the following morning.
12. Prepare shipments for the sales team, single barrel team, media and managers.
13. Develop a good general understanding of whisky
14. Act as point of contact for donation requests
15. Perform retail sales for guests when bar staff is unable to or not present
16. Attend and participate in weekly FOH meeting.
17. Assist the FOH with special event as needed (this may include some weekend asks)
18. Develop an intimate knowledge of Balcones history and products
19. Learn and become fluent in our point of sale system

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
