Front Desk Staff Job at Wayne Behavioral Service
Busy psychiatric office in Wayne looking for an energetic, positive attitude person in a full-time position as front desk support staff.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greeting and interacting with patients in a courteous, professional and welcoming manner.
- Entering patient charts using Medisoft and ICANotes; accurately collecting, updating and verifying patient demographic and insurance
- Scanning charts
- Performing insurance eligibility and verification as needed. Collecting referrals (as needed) and ensuring accuracy of information on referral forms.
- Collection of co-payments/fees
- Obtaining insurance pre-authorizations for treatments as needed.
- Scheduling follow up appointments with providers
- Answering inbound calls and checking messages and following up with patients in a timely manner.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

Experience:
