The Sanctuary Golf Club, a prestigious member-owned private golf club located on Sanibel Island, FL is open and accepting applications for seasonal Golf Cart Attendants (Outside Services) to start immediately. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for full-time or part-time hours now through the end of season in early May 2023. No Experience Required!

• 
  COMPENSATION: Base hourly rate, plus share of cart services charges. Total compensation typically $19-$23/hr.

HIRING BONUS: $500 bonus paid after minimum number of hours are worked.

  Brings golf cars from car shelter to car staging area outside; checks golf cars for tire pressure, brake operation and other safety considerations
• Loads bags from bag storage room onto golf carts
• Transports range balls to each end of range and fills appropriate containers
• Places baskets of balls at evenly spaced intervals on range
• Operates range picker to retrieve ball and washes all range balls daily
• Removes bags from golf cars and returns bags to assigned rack in bag storage room
• Returns golf cars to car shelter; removes towels, pencils, score cards, tees, drink cans, etc., from golf cars and saves reusable items; checks cars for damage; washes golf car with pressure cleaner; parks car in shelter and connects charger cable
• Restocks all golf carts according to standard procedures and policies
• Learns member names to ensure proper greetings and farewell, as well as to ensure correct member billing.
• Advises Pro Shop of clubs found on the course and destined for the lost and found
• Cleans all clubs for members and guests; cleans and maintains the club's rental equipment
• Maintains cleanliness of and order in Bag Storage Room
• Attends staff meeting and performs other tasks as assigned by the manager or department head.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Driver's License
• Positive attitude and professional appearance and helpful and friendly demeanor
• Strong work ethic, including being reliable, punctual and a team player

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions
• Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals
• Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud
• Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment which is typical of this position
• Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping, pulling, moving up to 75 lbs.
