Detailed garden maintenance. A fun, dynamic, fast-paced work environment for a very established business in the Denver Metro area. Most clientele are high-end residential. Experience preferred but willing to train. Must be hard-working, reliable, able to carry out both written & verbal delegations, have a commitment to detail, enjoys working outdoors, communicates well with managers & team members. Duties include but are not limited to:
Responsibilites:
- Able to properly deadhead perennials/annuals.
- Weed beds
- Prune shrubs & small trees
- Mulch & edge beds
- Plant perennials/annuals/trees/shrubs
- Identify major pest & disease infestations
- Extensive plant knowledge (variety & care) is a definite plus
Skills/Experience:
- Basic tree, shrub, and perennial plant knowledge.
- Prior plant maintenance and greenhouse/nursery work preferred.
- Desire to work in a physical job where you will spend a lot of time outdoors and in different weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 20-50 lbs. repeatedly over the course of a shift, bend and stand for long period of times.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Possesses a sense of urgency to keep up with peak seasonal demands.
- Detailed orientated, strong organizational skills, self-starter, takes directions well, and adaptable to different environments.
- Able to work weekends when necessary.
- Driver license and good driving record.
