The Summit County Resource Allocation Park is seeking a well-qualified, team player to join the amazing team at the Landfill as a Gatehouse Technician.
Primary duties as a Gatehouse Technician include, but are not limited to; greeting customers, performing scale house attendant duties, initiating the various daily transactions involved with materials entering SCRAP and responsible for collections and reporting daily entries. The Gatehouse Technician performs a variety of analytical, technical and administrative duties related to the SCRAP department. Work programs include accounts payable, accounts receivables, and purchasing cards. Responsible for upholding professional communication, accountability, leadership and customer service with peers, internal and external customers.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. Must have two years in specialized experience in bookkeeping with strong computer and math skills. Cash handling experience preferred. Must have excellent customer service and communications skills and be able to work well both as a member of a team and independently. Will be required to complete a background This job requires the incumbent to be able to lift 25 lbs., work outside (in all weather conditions) as needed, be able to stand for extended periods of time and be able to work a variety of shifts including weekdays, Saturdays and holidays. Will be required to successfully complete a background check prior to employment. LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES: • Valid Colorado Driver's License at time of appointment and throughout employment. • Must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle
