Gill Group, Inc. is currently seeking a diligent General Certified Appraiser (AG) to produce credible and viable results for clients and other intended users. The General Certified (AG) appraiser is permitted to provide all real estate appraisal services without regard to real property type, or complexity if they have the experience required for any specific assignment they undertake, or the requisite knowledge to perform the assignment competently, or associate themselves with another appraiser who has the necessary experience for a particular assignment.

You will be responsible for aggregating, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting on appraisal data.

Certified General Real Property Appraiser: Someone who is qualified to appraise all types of real property. To be a state certified general appraiser qualified to do appraisals for federally related transactions, a state must have requirements that meet or exceed this minimum standard.

The General Certified Appraiser responsibilities include:

· Conducting formal appraisals of real property or land before it is sold, mortgages, taxed, insured, or developed.

· Evaluating properties to establish market values and property ratings using internal and external sources.

· Making on site visits, inspecting property, and interviewing clients.

· Examine all variables that impact property’s present or future value (comparable home sales, previous sales records, future developments, etc.)

· Prepare reports that fully explain assessment results and outline methods used.

· Document procedure and backup data.

· Keep abreast with all current regulations, standards, and best practices.

Requirements and Skills

· Proven working experience as a General Certified Real Estate Appraiser (AG)

· Advanced knowledge of MS Office and ARGS, CoStar, LoopNet or other relevant software.

· Familiarity with all current industry’s regulations, rules, and standards.

· Strong analytical and research skills.

· Excellent writing and communication skills.

· Licensed or certified appraiser.

· BS degree in relevant field.

**Must be able to travel 4-5 days a week.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
