General Laborer (Residential Construction)

Job Duties & Responsibilities

· Cleaning and preparing construction sites as needed

· Loading and unloading materials and equipment

· Assisting with dump runs and deliveries

· Building and taking down scaffolding and temporary structures

· Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties when necessary

· Safely operate a variety of tools to complete daily tasks

· Direct traffic safely around the construction or road maintenance site

· Routinely and effectively communicate progress, updates, and issues to supervisors

· Observe all safety requirements on job sites, and actively seek to correct or report safety hazards or infractions to your supervisor

· Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor

· Must have a strong work ethic, be punctual and able to take direction

· Positive attitude, willingness, and ability to learn new skills

· Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team

· Goal-Oriented: good at focusing on the task at hand and able to start and complete tasks in a timely manner

· Sense of Urgency: ability to be decisive, provide a quick response and fast action when needed

Job Requirements

· Ability to perform manual labor and lift 50lbs daily, with the occasional 100lbs

· Ability to work indoor/outdoor in ranging weather conditions

· Must have basic computer skills, including the ability to correspond via email and text

· Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license

· Ability to pass required drug test and background check screening

· Must have a working cell phone

Work Schedule

· Approximately 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime & infrequent weekends

· General Start Time: 7:00 AM, Monday thru Friday

· Consistent and reliable year-round work

Compensation & Benefits

· $19.00 - $21.00 per Hour DOE

· Full-Time & Part-Time positions available
