- Provide consultation to more experienced leadership for financial accounting related matters
- Review data from the general ledger, unit reports and various financial systems to ensure accuracy
- Analyze projects relating to financial accounting procedures, methods or systems
- Perform ongoing financial control functions in accordance with internal controls policies
- Provide functional advice and training to individuals
- Provide support for compliance and risk management requirements
- Collaborate and consult with stakeholders throughout the enterprise
- Evaluate moderately complex business problems and provide technical assistance in identifying automated systems and related procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements
- Review and evaluate moderately complex technical business problems that can be resolved through internet or intranet based solutions
- Present recommendations for resolving business problems
- Exercise some independent judgment when developing project budgets, project plans, and schedules
- Provide information about communication between business and technology teams
- Work with business user groups to provide training, handle questions, observe user needs, and document results
- 2+ years of Business Systems Data and Business Systems Designing experience, Finance, Accounting, Financial Reporting, Accounting Reporting or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience with supporting General Ledger & Accounting Engine applications
- Experience with Big Data applications
- Experience with Oracle EBS, in particular the General Ledger
- Seasoned SQL user with the ability to write intermediate queries
