GIS Technician Job at UELS

Do you like maps?! Does geography and topography interest you?!
Are you familiar with mapping software or would like to make maps?
We use ESRI GIS mapping software.
We create and prepare maps from a variety of sources such as censuses, satellite imagery, aerial photographs, and existing maps.
To qualify, you must be a great communicator, know how to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, be a TEAM-PLAYER, and have great attention to details.
Candidates may receive preference if they possess:
- Experience in GIS
- The ability to read & understand survey data
- The ability to create maps & graphs using ArcGIS software and related equipment
- Experience with BLM data & projects
You must be able to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol screens. and be willing to participate in our Zero-Tolerance drug & alcohol policy.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
