Job Summary:

This position is responsible for the optimization of the global non-production inventory including, but not limited to the procurement, redeployment, and obsolescence analysis for retail fixtures, displays, gifts with purchase, and packaging. The Analyst serves as the single point of contact facilitating information processing between the brands, regional commercial teams, and supply chain.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and the Brands to manage supply deliveries, handle issues with supply timing, shortages, excess, production timing and/or special deadlines
  • Manage the re-deployment of product to other demand plants
  • Manage the intercompany purchase order process
  • Manage supply deliveries, collaborating closely with the Brands and Supply Chain teams
  • Work closely with Brand and Sales teams in communicating significant plan deviations and how to manage them globally
  • Provide regular updates to the brand and regional commercial teams
  • Analyze expected supply versus demand
  • Collaborate with Brands and Supply chain to determine root cause issues regarding supply and how to execute corrective actions (for both shortages and excess)
  • Collaborate with global warehouse facilities to analyze pockets of non-sellable inventory to work into sellable status and/or write-off recommendations
  • Ensure item data is set up properly across all ordering and purchasing platforms.
  • Assist in process improvement and building new processes




Job Requirements:


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 4+ years of related experience
  • Experience executing projects within tight deadlines
  • Excellent skills in written and verbal communication, analytical decision-making, team/relationship building
  • Knowledge of MRP/procurement process, supply and demand principles and forecast and demand planning
  • Strong work ethic, high degree of customer focus
  • Able to multitask and effectively navigate multiple computer systems
    • Strong skills in SAP BI report analysis preferred
    • Expert skills in Microsoft Excel
