The Alpine Resort is a historic Door County Wisconsin stay and play destination, located just south of Egg Harbor. Known for its stunning natural beauty and relaxed environment, the Alpine Resort is a favorite of locals and visitors alike. The property encompasses nearly half a mile of shoreline, with picturesque bluffs, stunning waterfront along Lake Michigan’s Green Bay, one of Door County’s most scenic golf courses, and the iconic resort itself.

The Alpine is a historic resort with a special 100-year history. Under new management, plans are in place to restore the main lodge, improve the golf course, and rejuvenate the waterfront. Future expansion plans will offer a variety of dining and lodging accommodations, as well as other recreational activities along the waterfront.

A Groundskeeper is required to be able to complete a large variety of landscaping tasks throughout the day.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Mow greens, tees, and fairways using a variety of mowers
• Rake bunkers
• Repair ball marks on greens
• Water greens, tees, and fairways
• Cut and edge around trees, flower beds, and sidewalks
• Pick up trash around the course
• Operate and maintain equipment
• Mix and apply pesticides and herbicides
• Fertilize greens, tees, and fairways
• Aerate greens
• Overseed greens, tees, and fairways
• Remove dead trees and limbs
• Repairing and replacing divots, tee boxes, greens, and other areas of the course that have been damaged by player use or inclement weather conditions
• Other projects/duties as assigned

Qualifications -

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• 1-2 years experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or a related field
• Ability to operate basic hand and power tools
• Knowledge of golf course maintenance equipment and procedures
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Communication & Problem- solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a team

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $18.00 per hour
