The Grant Compliance Associate reports directly to the Grant Manager and is part of the Development team within External Affairs. This position supports The Hotline in ensuring programmatic compliance of Federal, corporate, and foundation grants. These efforts include monthly tracking responsibilities, developing reports, and supporting administrative functions related to funders.
Compensation:
$47,840 Annually

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  • Guide departments in the monthly tracking of deliverable activities process, in accordance with the requirements of the grant
  • Review each department’s monthly tracking of stats, narrative updates, and backup documentation, following up on any questions or discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Assist the Grants Manager in ensuring deliverables are on track and progress is properly documented for reporting purposes
  • Develop necessary templates and tip sheets related to grant compliance and deliverable completion
  • Provide technical assistance to staff regarding cooperative agreements and special conditions requirements outlined by the funder
  • Support the creation, completion, and submittal of reports and amendments according to the funder contractual obligations
  • Maintain up to date and accurate records of all activities associated with each funder
  • Support the Grants Manager in funder relationships by drafting communication, scheduling meetings, and conducting general outreach.
  • Support audits with any necessary documentation
  • Maintain grant and funder accounts, ensuring passwords are up to date and confidential
  • Notify the compliance team and leadership team of any concerns related to compliance and ethics
  • Perform all duties with a social justice and anti-racist lens

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Commitment to The National Domestic Violence Hotline mission, core values, and workplace success factors
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide oversight and monitoring of projects
  • Ability to set schedules and coordinate project timelines among multiple departments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and reporting skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidence

OTHER REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Ability to read, write, and converse in English
  • Prolonged sitting and/or standing using a keyboard, phone, and computer
  • At-home work environment until March 2022; Hybrid work may be required
