Position: Sales Associate - Tamarack
Department: Retail -Beckley WV
Primary Responsibilities:
- Natural ability to anticipate guest needs
- Execute job in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures
- A sincere desire to please internal and external customer
- Interaction with guest working one on one
- Meeting and greeting guest with a smile
- Demonstrate a ready smile, eager to please attitude with guests at all times
- Ability to work at a quick pace and stressful at times
- Learn product knowledge of merchandise offered in shop
- Retail merchandising and stocking merchandise
- Suggestive selling demonstrating features and benefits of products
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Operating Point of Sale system handling cash and credit cards
- Working as a team with co-workers
- Cleaning and organizing shop and storage space
Past Work Experience Requirements:
- Retail Sales experience recommended
- Experience with dealing with people
Educational Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Communication Skills Requirements:
- Must possess ability to anticipate guest needs
- Good written and verbal and math skills
- Ability to communicate in a friendly, positive and professional manner
- Good listener
Technical Requirements:
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to use and understand Point of Sale System
- Sales Techniques
- Shops require knowledge of products
Required Supervision:
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- Report to Retail Assistant Manager and Retail Manager
Other Requirements:
- Desire to please
- Conveys enthusiasm
- Must have good organizational skills and detail oriented
- Flexible in working hours and available weekends and holidays
- Ability to adapt to change
- Able to work in small confined spaces
- Professional appearance following The Greenbrier and Retail Department Dress Code
