This role is eligible for Remote Employment.

This Enrollment role is responsible for setting up account and group level preferences and establishing billing and benefit values for the group. This role works closely with our Sales, Service and Finance partners. Tasks also include working with several databases and web-based applications. An analytical mindset is needed for determining course of action in processing production requests for all market segments.

Responsibilities:
Perform timely processing of standard and non-standard group transactions to support goals of operational excellence
Analyze and understand requests received by Sales; proactively respond to missing information, benefit discrepancies, ID card concerns, etc.
Process group coding transactions in accordance with underwriting guidelines and other policies and procedures.
Participate in process improvement activities and project work, as required
Develop and maintain effective working relationships within Enrollment and with other areas of BCBS
Consistently achieve department quality and productivity standards
Ability to interpret and apply complex workflows and question discrepancies.

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
insurance or healthcare experience preferred
Knowledge of mainframe/RTMS systems.
Ability to utilize databases to review and validate information.
Working knowledge of medical and dental products offerings and/or BCBSMA product offerings
Professional demeanor and demonstrated accountability of personal development
A strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset
Microsoft Office experience, notably Outlook and Excel

Minimum Education Requirements:
High school degree or equivalent required unless otherwise noted above
