Large Real Estate Development and Property Management firm looking for a Handyman for West Mill Gardens Apartment complex. The position includes the responsibility for the care of the complex and comfort of the residents including but not limited to general interior and exterior maintenance, responding to service requests of the residents and repairs in apartments and common areas. The Handyman must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors, and fellow employees. One must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions and be able to maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prior Maintenance experience a MUST
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must have own tools
- Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks (e.g. shoveling snow)
- Clean dumpster areas daily
- Remove and put blinds up
- Install peel and stick flooring
- Spackle and sheetrock
- Perform maintenance and light repairs
- Prep and paint in empty and occupied units
- Undertake light installation or carpentry (e.g., installing doors)
- Remove and deliver appliances
- Must have a valid driver's license and own car
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
