Hardware/Printer Technician Job at John Galt Staffing
Our Client is an MSP of IT security, infrastructure support, and hardware procurement for small and medium sized groups in the New England area.
We are in need of a Hardware and Printer Technician to provide on and off-site support while interfacing with a variety of clients. The Hardware/Printer Technician will be responsible for hardware troubleshooting and Break/Fix of equipment. This person will be traveling 3 days a week onsite to support clients in their hardware needs and also support internal client staff. They will also be working with two senior engineers who have supported the break/fix work for over 20 years and are looking to develop a growing team. In addition to the primary hardware support responsibilities, the Technician will assist the client and Helpdesk staff in the maintenance of related desktop software application if time is available
Required for the Hardware/Printer Technician:
- HP Printer support experience; specifically on hardware support.
- Hardware equipment troubleshooting and network support experience on desktops, servers, and printers.
- Ability to service and support all local and network Hewlett Packard (HP) Laserjet printers.
- Ability to upgrade to newer released desktop operating systems and printer equipment.
- Knowledge of all Windows 7/10 workstation systems, including Dell computers running Windows 7/10 operating systems.
- Ability to travel to client sites around Massachusetts.
Preferred for the Hardware/Printer Technician:
- Support experience with HP/Windows Servers, HP laptops and Chromebooks.
- Possess break fix experience with specific HP or Lexmark printers.
Education Requirements for the Hardware/Printer Technician:
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience.

- Taunton, MA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

- Driver's License (Required)
