About us
University of New Haven Gymnastics Club is a student-run organization in West Haven, CT. We are looking for a coach for this competition season and hopefully seasons to follow. We are a group that loves gymnastics and needs a coach who can communicate with us. We are all looking to have an amazing season and we want to have the most fun possible!!

We are looking for a Head Coach with a proven history of developing young talent and guiding them to success. The Head Coach should have a strong understanding of the intricacies of an NAIGC gymnastics team and have prior experience working with student-athletes on a regular basis. Our Head Coach will be responsible for improving each gymnast's performance and creating an environment that motivates our gymnasts to achieve excellence through discipline, respect, trust, and teamwork. This is a highly responsible position that requires significant leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Create and share a winning vision with the team.
- Provide feedback on gymnasts' performance.
- Communicate with gymnasts individually and as a group.
- Plan and implement practice activities that develop and enhance team performance.
- Plan and implement practice activities that develop and enhance individual gymnast performance.
- Plan and implement effective strategies for handling adverse situations.
- Serve as a role model for team members and the community.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $2,500.00 - $5,000.00 per year
