General Description

LIDS is looking for an innovative and seasoned creative & design brand leader. As our Head of Branding and Collaborations, you will define and set the tone for the brand globally. You will push LIDS to reach its creative potential by expanding our global brand partnerships and identifying new avenues of opportunity to expand the LIDS brand. This partner will help LIDS expand their international partnerships with artists, creatives, brand houses, and pop culture figures that will help the LIDS brand grow and evolve.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive the growth and expansion of LIDS collaborations and creative campaigns with large and small brands.
  • Lead a branding team of 4-6 individuals responsible for collaborations, seeding, and branding campaigns.
  • Actively reach out to small and large brands, pitch them on collaborations, and oversee negotiations and contracts.
  • Manage product design process with merchandise team.
  • Oversee all collaborations and manage team that will execute all campaigns and plans.
  • Provide unique vision to existing and future collaborations and campaigns.
  • Create and manage the vision for branding campaigns with the help of cross functional departments within LIDS and outside PR agencies.
  • Grow and foster brand profiles through marketing and public relations.

Additional Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Translate and implement the creative strategy & vision into creative campaigns that your department will execute, while building partnerships with notable figures and brands.
  • Assist the leadership team in driving strategically inspired and creatively led, omni channel campaigns that strengthen relationships with consumers across all touchpoints.
  • Partner closely with other cross-functional creative teams, including, social media, Marketing, e-commerce, and others, to ensure the brand DNA and specific storytelling campaigns build the greatest brand and business impact, while delivering consistency across all touch points.

Job Required Knowledge & Skills

  • Bachelor/Master's degree in Design or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience - Minimum of 7+ years of creative experience in creative direction, art direction and design; primarily focused on consumer brands
  • Building and managing high performance teams
  • Experience with campaign development, brand strategy, digital channels, consumer journeys, and innovative practices
  • Innovative storytelling across multiple categories with the ability to see a story where others don't
