Heavy Equipment Operator Job at GMS Corporation
GMS is currently hiring entry level miners to work at an underground salt mine near Detroit, MI. While no mining experience is required to gain consideration for these positions, the ideal candidates will have previous experience working as a laborer or running heavy equipment. This position will require working underground everyday.
Successful candidates will maintain 50-60 hours each week, working 10-hour shifts. Candidates will need to be able to work day and/or night shift on a regular basis. All positions start on steady night shift but will offer eligibility to move to day shift in the future. Necessary mine-specific training will be provided to successful hires. All candidates must be local prior to beginning this position.
