Help Desk PC Support Technician (FT) Job at Synergistix.

This position is hybrid after completing 90 days of employment.

Great pay, up to $22 per hour.

Position Overview:
The Technical Support Specialist will provide exceptional customer service and technical support for a sales force automation application. The primary responsibility for this position is to provide technical phone support for the needs of pharmaceutical sales representatives.
Responsibilities:
  • Providing first-level problem determination and technical support for the needs of pharmaceutical sales representatives.
  • Proactively maintaining communications with callers through the analysis and resolution process.
  • Providing daily follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Tracking “Open Tickets” and keeping ticket histories current and complete.
  • Performing outlined troubleshooting and information gathering before call escalation.
  • Completing company/client reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Monitoring all customer support calls in the call-tracking system.
  • Returning calls from customers, as well as entering new problems or requests into the call-tracking database daily.
  • Documenting resolutions and offering suggestions for inclusion in the department knowledge base.
  • Enthusiastically support and collaborate with the team to develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Performing other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Skill and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Verified work experience will be considered instead of a degree.
  • 2+ years of technical helpdesk experience is strongly desired.
  • Microsoft Professional certification is required.
  • Understanding standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the information technology field are required.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with PC hardware and software, Windows (Windows 7, 10), and Mac operating systems as well as FTP and network connectivity issues required.
  • Knowledge or experience with customer service management systems (CRM) is required.
  • Ability to perform problem diagnosis for end-users required.
  • Experience in supporting mobile applications on platforms such as Android or iOS is required.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL queries is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Excellent customer service skills are required.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and provide results.
