Overview:
Reporting to the I.T. Director/Manager, this entry level position is responsible for maintaining ticket log and for resolving tier 1 help tickets using guidelines, documented solutions, and online tools.

Covid-19 Vaccination and Boosters Requirements: All employees are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, including "health-care" required boosters as a condition of employment, subject to limited exemptions. New employees are required to provide proof of being fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and boosted before the first day of employment. If you completed your primary series, received an original booster and it has been more than 2 months from that booster dose - it is recommended, but not required that you receive the Bivalent booster.
Responsibilities:
  • Respond to employee emails, tickets and phone calls for routine desktop setup and repairs,
  • Provide tier 1 support to all systems users in a healthcare clinical environment. On site and remote.
  • Create, log and close helpdesk tickets.
  • Use internal applications or vendor online tools to modify customer settings to resolve help issues. Install printers and other peripherals.
  • Escalate helpdesk tickets to the appropriate IT management/engineering staff.
  • Miscellaneous tasks as required to support employees and assist in their understanding of how network printing, remote access and other functions work.
  • Identifying inventory needs as well as properly inventorying IT assets.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • AA degree with computer related emphasis or equivalent experience.
  • At least 1-year prior experience in internal technical support or IT seat maintenance.
  • PC proficiency and extensive experience with MS Office.
  • Personable and patient with inexperienced computer users.
  • Self-managed, adheres to schedules, and make reasonable service commitments.
  • Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive manner, listens well.
  • Writes clearly and informatively.
  • Exhibits objectivity and is open to other viewpoints.
  • Support team efforts
  • Seek ways to improve and promote quality; demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Follow policies and procedures; complete administrative tasks on time.
