Cross Keys High School is seeking an English Academic Coach as a resource person to promote student and teacher growth in learning and teaching and as an instructor for students in need of acceleration, correction, or remediation. The coach works collaboratively with teachers to implement a quality education programs that are research-based and differentiated for student needs. This position supports teachers by modeling instructional strategies and lessons, developing and modifying lesson plans, supporting teachers in a variety of ways to learn, and expanding teacher and parent understanding of current educational research and knowledge. This position is responsible for the design, implementation, and analysis of learning assessments.
Additional performance responsibilities include but are not limited the following:
1. Model lessons for various subject areas;
2. Plan and execute grade level meetings for the purpose of fostering connections and reviewing student work;
3. Lead the participation in vertical articulation to reinforce developmental scope and sequence (K-12);
4. Support and share best practices with K-12 teachers, as needed;
5. Attend and assist with facilitating weekly common planning/ meetings;
6. Maintain school data and statistical information
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $53,751.00 - $102,608.00 per year

- Bachelor's (Required)
Experience:
- English teaching: 2 years (Required)
- ESOL teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
