The Holiday Inn Oceanside, a large ocean front resort hotel, seeks a part-time
Banquet Server to join a dedicated Banquet team. They will be responsible for preparing for and serving guests during banquet functions in accordance with established hotel standards. Assist Captain or Manager in setting up and breaking down buffet and other special food services tables/stations. Sets up, serves and/or breaks down coffee breaks, receptions, other special functions, as assigned, following standard policies and procedures.
Complete any assigned side work, such as refilling condiments, polishing silverware, sorting linen, cleaning/storing serving equipment and/or props, etc.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Exert physical effort in lifting/transporting at least 50 pounds.
- Push/pull carts and other equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas.
- Must be able to stand and walk for 8-hours or more.
- Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding.
Candidates must be available to work weekends and holidays.
