Home Care Coordinator

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages the scheduling of established clients
  • Assist with organizing and maintenance of Caregiver / Client Management System
  • Inputs new employee and new client information in Caregiver / Client Management System
  • Weekly updates and maintenance of Caregiver/Client spreadsheet(s)
  • Sending out V-Cards of new caregivers and clients
  • Assists with scheduling and organizing of Caregivers for all clients
  • Assists with writing and placing employment ads
  • Assists with phone screening of potential caregivers
  • Processes employment applications, reference verifications and background checks.
  • Answers phones and directs calls.
  • Manages caregiver time-off request forms and address/phone number change forms
  • Processes employee time cards and enters data for payroll
  • On call with company phone/pager as needed.
  • Fills in with clients out in the field when needed.
  • Performs other administrative duties and services as needed.
  • Organizes and maintains all client and employee files.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Requires strong problem solving and organizational skills. Must be a dynamic individual capable of multi-tasking. Prior experience with the elderly preferred but not necessary. Requires effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, telephone experience and computer literacy.
