Short Stay Rehab RN House Supervisor - Mon-Fri 8a-5p Full Time.
Lakeview Village in Lenexa, Kansas is a 5-Star not-for-profit continuing care retirement community which offers long term care, assisted living, and sub-acute rehabilitation.
Job Purpose:
Provides all phases of clerical and administrative support to the Administrator and the Home Health Agency staff.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides general office Administrative duties for Home Health services including, but not limited to, the following: answering phones, taking messages, managing fax communications.
- Handles and distributes schedules for nursing and therapy.
- Supports, expands and maintains marketing efforts to promote programs and services in the Home Health department including, but not limited to, development of flyers and educational materials, etc.
- Meet clients in person to explain home health.
- Coordinates welcome process for new admissions and follow up phone calls to discharged patients.
- Assist with new hire orientation.
- Back up Intake Coordinator for Home Health.
- Assist with all inquiries for Home Health which includes reviewing, checking insurance, and approving to make sure the appropriate paper work is on hand for the staff.
- Authorization from Insurance Companies prior to admission and as needed through services.
- Assist with requests and filing of medical records.
- Manage payroll and mileage for all staff.
- Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Handles stress well, gets along with others in the workplace, maintains acceptable standards of conduct.
- Adheres to all safety regulations and requirements.
- Completes trainings as required by policy.
- Supportive of Lakeview Village’s vision, mission, and values.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
