Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

We are searching for a highly accountable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support and assist our patients with a wide range of basic healthcare and daily living needs to promote comfort. Your love of clear expectations and working within established systems and procedures will be heavily relied on in this role. You will utilize your helpful and supportive communication skills with patients and families as you provide high quality hospice care. Your disciplined work ethic will shine as you maintain accurate documentation and reporting of all observations, and in the care, you provide to our patients. Lumicare Hospice is searching for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to sustain and promote clinical excellence in all interactions with families and patients.

What you’ll need to be our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

• Accommodating and analytical, while producing highly precise and accurate work
• Unselfish and approachable with a preference for detailed, skill-based work
• Patient, conscientious, relaxed and cooperative team worker
• CNA Certification
• CPR Certification
• Comfortable providing care to dying and/or deceased patients

What you’ll do as the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

• Assist professional nursing staff by performing routine tasks in the care of residents; helping them adapt to changes that may occur due to illness and/or normal processes of aging
• Provide support in basic needs including feeding and dressing the patient
• Ensure that the direct care provided is in compliance with the patient’s individual care plan
• Responsible for charting detailed reports of any observations as well as the care provided to the patient
• Consistently communicate with the nurse to stay updated on any changes with the patient’s care
