Hospital Chief Operating Officer Job at Clinical Management Consultants
A fantastic opportunity has presented itself with a prestigious hospital in Coastal Oregon! They are seeking to add an experienced Hospital Chief Operating Officer to their executive team.
This state-of-the-art medical center prides themselves on positive patient outcomes and top-notch patient care for their community. This facility features over 150 beds, and offers a wide range of inpatient acute care and outpatient services, including Emergency, Intensive Care, Maternity, Surgical, and Imaging Services. The Hospital COO will join a facility that is Accredited by The Joint Commission and boasts a Level III Trauma Center, as well as numerous other Awards and Accreditations for Excellence in Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety.
This Chief Operating Officer will report directly to the Hospital CEO and will oversee operational systems and processes to ensure the hospital is functioning at the highest level and giving priority to our patients. This COO will be responsible for stepping in as CEO in their absence, promoting high performance expectations to leadership team, setting clear goals and expectations, provide leadership in the development and implementation of standards, systems, policies, and procedures in alignment with the organization's goals, optimize resources and provide input on staffing and resource planning, as well as work to develop and maintain positive relationships with executive level and other leadership/physician staff.
It is required that this Chief Financial Officer have Bachelor's and Master's degrees in related fields, as well as previous COO experience in an acute care setting of similar size. It is important that this candidate has shown progressive promotions through leadership roles at their time in acute care facilities.
