KMC offers services in a wide array of specialties for both inpatient and outpatient services. The main campus has:
- Six operating rooms
- Two procedure rooms
- Two Cath Labs
- Intermediate care for preoperative and postoperative patients
- Three inpatient nursing units: Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Intensive Care
- Outpatient services including: X-Ray, CT, MRI, PET, PT, Lab, and Cardiac Rehab

- Three Family Practice clinics located in Andover and Derby
- Two Cardiology Clinic located in Wichita

Second Shift: 3:00p to 11:30p

Reports to:
Housekeeping Manager
Supervisory Responsibility:
Position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Education/Training:
High School Diploma (or equivalent) preferred but not required.
Licensure and Certification Requirements:
None.
Experience Required:
Previous housekeeping experience in the medical field preferred.
Position Summary:
This position must provide clean, sanitary, comfortable, orderly, and satisfying surroundings for the residents, employees, and public. The Housekeeper promotes hygienic conditions which prevent the spread of infection and odors. She/he may be required to perform tasks which involve exposure to visible blood and bodily fluids. The housekeeper must follow the required written Kansas Medical Center policies and procedures for cleaning and disinfecting of critical/non-critical areas of the hospital. The Housekeeper is required to apply in their daily duties the educational training provided by management in accordance with CDC, AHE, APIC.
