Experienced Hotel Housekeeper Needed at The Clarion Pointe Hotel, Harrodsburg, KY

The position requires cleaning assigned guest rooms and public areas according to system standards and Best Methods. This includes making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming carpet, cleaning mirror and windows etc.

Place and restock useable items in the hotel rooms including paper items, soap, towels, etc. according to Brand Standards. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Follow company and department safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment.

Welcome and acknowledge every guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting. Address guests’ service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner. Protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.

Work cooperatively with other associates to ensure proper coverage and prompt guest service.

Report room discrepancy, missing hotel property and room damages to front desk staff and manager.

6 + months of prior cleaning experience preferred. Must be 18 years or older and be able to pass drug test.

You must be reliable (own transportation), be on time, detail oriented, dependable, trustworthy, honest, self-motivated, be responsible to work independently and manage your own task time.

Must be able to multi-task, physically fit and have the ability to bend, stoop and lift

Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with guest and other hotel staff.

You must be willing to work weekends and holidays.

This job offers steady part time work during day, approximately 20 to 30 hours/week, year-around as long as you are flexible. You may be able to continue your other part time job also if so desired.

Compensation based on experience, skills and abilities.
