Position Summary:
A private family with a beautifulresidence in Pacific Palisades, CA would like to hire an experienced House Manager/Personal Assistant who will assume responsibility for the smooth operation of their residence. This professional will also provide extensive personal support as part of a team with their established staff. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in fine homes,possess strong household management, personal assistance, and administrative skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility for the management and upkeep of the Pacific Palisades residence, including service standards.
- Manage and schedule vendors.
- Maintain communication with the family office to manage projects and report on finances.
- Manage the principals' personal correspondence; respond to outreaches, phone calls, emails, and letters.
- Update contact databases.
Qualifications:
- At least five years of prior experience supporting a private principal and working in a private home.
- Impeccable manners and strong aesthetic sense with an understanding of gravitas and elegance.
- Excellent penmanship and understanding of traditional and formal correspondence.
- Strong follow-up and follow-through.
- Able to represent the principals with grace, poise, and professionalism at all times.
- Bachelor's Degree required
Schedule:
Generally a Monday through Friday schedulewith flexibility required.
Compensation:
Compensation of $125,000to $175,000, depending on experience and qualifications, with benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
