Housekeeper Job at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network
Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network is building a state-of-the-art, 76-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital that will revolutionize treatment and recovery options for people with complex medical conditions, such as stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury and other serious injuries or illnesses. The four-story, 123,000-square-foot facility on Center Valley Parkway will feature all private rooms and offer world-class physical rehabilitation care to patients who are recovering from complex and catastrophic conditions.
Nationally, only a handful of new rehabilitation hospitals are built each year. By 2023, leading-edge inpatient rehabilitation care is coming to Center Valley, Pennsylvania.
One of the most novel and exciting spaces to spur innovation in Good Shepherd’s new hospital is The Experience Center. This first-of-its-kind space will give people with disabilities and other mobility challenges an environment where they can explore the latest advancements, like 3D printing, robotics, wearables, artificial intelligence and smart home and personal assistance devices, designed to promote healing and independence and make people’s lives better.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

By performing cleaning functions in assigned areas as scheduled and uses proper procedures as trained, performs general cleaning and damp wiping of rooms and offices, dry and wet mops rooms and offices, vacuums carpets in lounges, offices and entrances, cleans bathrooms and showers in patient, staff and public areas, replenishes paper and soap supplies in rooms

By cleaning and making beds upon discharge.

By picking up papers and trash.

By emptying trash containers daily or as needed.

By following manufacturer's operating and care guidelines and reports any problems to supervisor.
