Housekeeping Attendant - FT & PT Positions Job at Hillsborough County, NH
Schedule: Full Time 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
Part-time 16-28 hours per week including every other weekend and holidays
Pay Rate: $13.00 per hour plus $2.00 weekend shift differential
Position Overview:
Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor, the Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for performing a wide range of cleaning duties in all areas of the Nursing Home using specialized housekeeping equipment and chemicals in order to maintain a clean, safe and aseptic environment for residents, staff and the public.
General Responsibilities:
The candidate will perform housekeeping activities including, but not limited to: sweeping; mopping; vacuuming floors and carpets; cleaning and disinfecting sinks and toilets; washing mirrors and windows; emptying trash containers; and removing and re-hanging curtains.
Qualifications:
· Completion of tenth grade
· Some experience in a cleaning atmosphere
· Some knowledge of modern cleaning methods
· Ability to understand and carryout oral and written instructions.
· Any combination of experience and training which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities
