HR Generalist - Human Resources - Full Time / Days Job at Gadsden Regional Medical Center
The HR Assistant is to function as the receptionist for the HR department and direct traffic flow as needed considering the needs of the employees and the availability of HR staff. The HR Assistant will also provide clerical support to the HR department and cross train on an entry level to all positions within the department.
Education required: High school graduate/GED required. BS degree in related field strongly desired.
Experience required: Two (2) or more years of administrative experience with HR/Recruiting experience preferred.
Proficient with MS Office Suite, with advanced skills in Microsoft Word & Excel. Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize tasks and support hiring managers. Ability to organize, take initiative, follow through and anticipate needs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to problem-solve in a creative and positive manner. Ability to work independently where appropriate but also understand when to escalate issues for guidance and/or resolution. Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and manage confidential or sensitive information. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to interact and establish a rapport with internal customers/candidates at all levels. A focus on quality, while also making cost effectiveness and time management a priority. Flexible to changing priorities and willing to learn new systems and procedures.
