The Foods Staffing Specialist is responsible for developing and facilitating the implementation of Dollywood Company staffing projects in conjunction with our commitment to community. This is to be done in a manner consistent with the mission, values, and operating philosophies of The Dollywood Company and Herschend Family Entertainment.


Additionally, the ideal candidate will be able display and live out Lead With Love qualities, strongly rooted in the Dollywood Company culture, by being patient, kind, trusting, unselfish, truthful, forgiving, dedicated and accountable.


Summary of Essential Functions and Responsibilities


  • Represent the Dollywood Company as an effective and credible community steward.
  • Establish and foster positive relationships with key contacts and representatives from area organizations, businesses, local and state government entities that will develop host recruitment opportunities
  • Identify and prioritize the appropriate areas of involvement and engagement. Determine opportunities for additional senior leadership participation.
  • Communicate accurate, compelling and timely information regarding the Dollywood Company to area organizations, businesses and government entities to ensure that the community is aware of and understands our efforts.
  • Provide on park shift support and mentorship to the divisions that employ the hosts hired through programming

  • Able to operate/drive a company vehicle with valid TN driver’s license and insurance.

  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds.


Required Experience


  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience working with youth or students is preferred.
  • Proven proficiency in common computer software such as data management, word processing, and spread sheets is required.
  • Experience with various filing systems or other organizational systems preferred.
  • Must pass background check and obtain a TN Driver’s License.
  • Able to make a friendly impression when speaking to or corresponding with guests, vendors, and other employees.
