Job Description


This role will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the CCL and ABG Reporting Library and reporting definitions in Oracle HCM. Ensure all reporting activity, for CCL and ABG is compliant with Carnival Security Policy and fit within Oracle HCM Cloud best practice mitigating risk with quarterly release cycles. Actively work with HR Technology analysts to grow internal capability, share experiences, avoid duplication and drive consistency. Keep up to date with best practice, utilizing Oracle Connect and other professional networks to ensure Carnival remains current. Actively work with the CCL/ABG HRIS team with regards to future releases and support impact assessment activity each quarter.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Design, develop, maintain and deliver key dashboards and metrics, scheduled and adhoc reports and queries that meet business needs of stakeholders and support all areas of HR.
  • Provide day to day support in compiling, transforming, and visualizing data and delivering timely and accurate analysis of Carnival Corp data, using OTBI and Data Visualizer.
  • Collaborate with workstream subject matter experts and leads to create functional reporting specs that accurately document required functionality.
  • Work with implementation partners to define and build custom OTBI and XML reports with Oracle HCM Cloud.
  • Work on reporting gap analysis creating BI Publisher reports where requirements cannot be met with out-of-the-box OTBI reports.
  • Support unit testing and user acceptance testing for Oracle HCM Reporting raising/fixing any potential bugs found.
  • Provide guidance to the creation of end user training ensuring functionality of reports are understood when documentation is created.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Education/Major: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related major.
  • Required Years and Area of Professional Experience: 3-5 years of experience creating OTBI and BI Publisher reports and analytics within Oracle HCM.
  • Critical Professional Related Technical/Computer Skills: Experience creating OTBI and BI Publisher reports within Oracle HCM or equivalent experience in other reporting tools.
  • Preferred Experience & Type: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to clearly understand business processes, drivers and KPIs. Experience in analysis, design, construction, testing, documentation, and support of Oracle HCM reports. Experience in handling/analyzing Human Resources related data.
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to troubleshoot, ability to resolve, and ability to communicate highly technical reporting information in easy-to-understand verbiage to functional counterparts.

The range for this role’s base salary is $84,000 - $100,000. Offers of selected candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.
