How You Will Make an Impact?
The purpose of this position is to coordinate the "new hire hypercare program". This position will work closely with the local HR team to facilitate all trainings and programs associated with new hire hypecare and team member retention. They will coordinate the on-site usage and tracking of the learning management system.
The Nuts and Bolts
  • Conduct New Team Member Orientation
  • Prepare PPE and other materials for New Team Member Orientation
  • Coordinate New Team Member training
  • Coordinate all new hire hypercare activities including but not limited to "mentor & buddy", "new hire group chats", "skip level meetings" "green stripe program", "new hire surveys"
  • Daily "on-the-shop" check ins with new hires
  • Conduct "train-the-trainer" program
  • Develop slides/presentations, when required
  • Collect training data, feedback, and surveys for on-site trainings
  • Provide administrative support for on-site trainings
  • Assist local HR as needed
Required Credentials
  • Computer skills or the ability/willingness to learn computer-based systems
  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency or some level of experience in using Microsoft Suite
  • Strong communication skills
  • Some level of manufacturing experience
Preferred Credentials
  • Truck bodybuilding or some manufacturing experience
  • Adult learning experience
  • Classroom style presentation experience
  • Training program implementation and execution experience
  • Project management experience
You Must Be Able to
Thisjoboperatesinamanufacturingplantenvironment. Whileperformingthedutiesofthisjob,theHR Assistantisregularlyrequiredto:
  • Be able to stand for up to 8-10 hours per day.
  • Be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Be able to carry up to 35 lbs.
  • Be able to talk, hear, and see.
  • Have the ability to climb ladders and/or work in high places.
  • The noise level in the work environment can range from moderate to high.
