Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources and in collaboration with the Sr HRIS Analyst, the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) analyst will support and maintain the organization’s HRIS applications and modules.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field is required.
  • At least five years of related experience required.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.
Oversees and maintains optimal function of the HRIS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance and upgrades to applications, systems, and modules.
Provides technical support, troubleshooting and guidance to both internal and external HRIS users.
Collaborates with executive leadership and HR staff to identify system improvement and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions.
Manages permissions, access, personalization and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.
Programs customs functionality such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports. Maintains instructional documentation of same.
Compiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for all levels of leadership.
Serves as representative and liaison between HR, Information Technology, external vendors and partners, and other key stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation.
Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS business practice, vendor relations and technical advancement.
Performs other duties as required.

Required Skills / Abilities:
Thorough understanding of all areas of information technology best practice and proficiency in HR related functional and programmatic elements of Workday.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and technical documentation abilities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with Human Resource policies, procedures and regulatory requirements, and applicable state and federal employment law to ensure the HRIS meets all organization needs and goals.
Ability to keep information confidential.
Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 or related software applications.
