Looking for a great opportunity? Come join Wood as an HSE Assistant in Houston, TX. This is an entry level contractor role, supporting and working within a Wood client office. Daily tasks by the HSE Assistant include distribution of notices, completing forms from agency online platforms,team collaboration, and other tasks as assigned. This including working with tools such AFMSS, OCD online, RRC online,Microsoft apps, and other various tools. This team ensures Client's ability to operate in Texas and New Mexico. The role requires that the individual be a team player.

Schedule: Flexible 6am-6pm In-office with possibility of flex and hybrid schedule

Responsibilities:
- Administrative tasks
- Complete Wellview reviews
- Check W-15s for accuracy
- Complete and submit completion reports to the required agency
- Upload logs to the agency database
- Must be able to handle a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Experience submitting drilling permits in Texas
- Strong leadership and verbal communication skills
- 2-4+ years’ experience in Regulatory
- Experience with Excel, Adobe, Word, TEAMS, and PowerPoint
- Experience submitting various forms to gov’t agency
- Experience discussing issues and bringing solutions to the table
- Experience with allocation, PSA, and Unit wells
- Communication across multiple end users/stakeholders/ team player
- Experience with on-line submissions with TXRRC and GLO; G-1, W-2, P-16, P-12, P-8, P-4, and W-15.
- Experience with SWRs with TXRRC.
- Demonstrated understanding of occupational health and safety requirements
