HSE Program Manager


Location: Deer Park, Texas

HSE Program Managers are responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing company's safety programs. Their main duty is to ensure that the company is in compliance and adheres to HSE guidelines. Your main goal will be to always ensure safe working environment and prevent any injuries and accidents.


Responsibilities


  • Plan and implement HSE programs
  • Advise on various safety-related systems
  • Prepare educational seminars and webinars on a regular basis
  • Review existing policies and procedures
  • Adhere to all the rules and regulations
  • Conducts audits on safety, company policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to employee safety and other HSE training where necessary
  • Implement innovative HSE programs and strategies in the areas of behavior-based safety, auditing for compliance, safety management systems, process safety and risk management, high-impact training, and compliance support.
  • Provide support to construction field operations
  • Supervise and administer safety activities
  • Review and provide input on construction work plans with project managers
  • Conduct risk assessments on programs
  • Enforce preventative measures
  • Train, manage and guide your staff
  • Identify process bottlenecks and offer timely solutions
  • Check if all the projects are acting in adherence with rules and regulations established programs.
  • Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes


Requirements


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE
  • Excellent knowledge of legislation and procedures
  • Excellent knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
  • Experience in producing reports
  • Experience with writing policies and procedures for health and safety
  • Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Working knowledge of safety management information system
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management, and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with ISN, Avetta, and like compliance systems.
