For over 50 years, Lacks Enterprises has been a privately held world leader in the automotive decorative trim business. With over 20 facilities and 2000 employees in West Michigan we continue to grow! We are seeking to add a highly motivated entry level Human Resources Assistant to our team. As an HR Assistant you will support one of our dynamic manufacturing facilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as a resource and liaison between employees and management
- Manage staffing levels and staffing changes in designated plant
- Assists in enforcement of personnel policies and state and federal employment laws
- Oversight of weekly payroll processing (ADP software)
- Administer and coordinate plant recognition and reward programs
- Various HR related projects as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with a major or emphasis in Human Resources, or related field
- Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Effective organizational and prioritization skills
- Positive attitude and goal oriented
