Our client, a preeminent performing arts organization located in New York City, is hiring an entry-level human resource assistant to support various initiatives of the organization. This is a temporary position with full-time hours, Monday to Friday. The anticipated duration is several months.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
This position will support strategic HR projects.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
  • Assist with onboarding.
  • Work on creating Processes and Policies to improve organization efficiency.
  • Assist in coordination of employee questions and administrative tasks.
  • Ensure that spreadsheets and databases are accurate, up-to-date and properly organized.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Interest in a career in human resources; eager to improve administrative processes.
  • Diligent and self-starting.
  • Capable of handling confidential material.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Detail oriented, organized and able to multitask.
  • Experience with various computer software programs.
  • Bachelor’s degree; and HR internships and experience a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
