The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative support to the Human Resources Department and assists with maintenance of HR files and documentation that ensure effective and efficient operations of the human resources department. The Human Resources Coordinator will demonstrate knowledge of the CNS Mission, Vision, and Values in their meaningful work.

Responsibilities:

  • Enters new hire data and employee changes in HRIS system.
  • Prepares monthly reminders to employees regarding renewal of required certifications, clearances, licenses, training, etc. Provides department leaders in CA locations with bi-monthly events reports to ensure compliance. Compiles reports from databases as needed.
  • Reconciles pre-employment physicals, drug screens, live scan, and DMV pull notice invoices to be paid by accounting.
  • Ensures that all new hires receive and clear a drug screening, fingerprint clearance, health screen.
  • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers complex questions to appropriate senior level HR staff or management. Assists HR Generalists and HR Managers with facilitating and orienting new hires to CNS personnel policies, hours, benefits, and other miscellaneous information.
  • Maintains accurate and up to date human resources files, records, and documentation. Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of the human resources files and records.
  • Assigns all course curricula to newly hired employees within 48 hours of hire in the Learning Management System – MyNetLearning database. Provides department leaders in CA locations with monthly reports to ensure completion and compliance.
  • Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefit enrollment, organization wide meetings, employee recognition events, parties, and celebrations.

Requirements:

  • Associates degree in related field required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years prior experience in Human Resources required. Working understanding of human resources principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Proficiency with personal computers, Microsoft Office applications (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HRIS) and other related software and computer applications.
  • COVID vaccination with booster (if eligible).
