Job Description:
This role will act as the liaison of the Human Resources department to all departments at Airspace. To be successful in this role, you'll need to be a proactive self-starter with a keen eye for detail and a passion for helping others. Things move quickly in a startup environment, which prevents this from being a stereotypical "boring HR" role - exciting changes happen frequently as our headcount increases and we expand into more countries.
Responsibilities:
- Onboarding of new employees, including initiating background checks and offer letters.
- Performing New Hire Orientations as often as necessary.
- Entering new employees into the HRIS.
- Management of the HRIS system.
- Gaining knowledge of our benefits program and becoming a resource to employees who have questions or need assistance.
- Ensuring compliance with state-mandated training programs.
- Tasks related to internal employee appreciation incentives.
- Offboarding of departing employees when necessary.
- Drafting HR compliant documents as requested by the leadership team, with the help of our General Counsel.
- Staying abreast of Covid-19 regulations to keep employees in our office as safe as possible.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources related job functions.
- Experience with G-Suite products.
- 1-3 years of HRIS experience (ADP is a plus).
- 1-3 years of compliance and/or benefits administration.
- Knowledge of CA wage and labor laws.
Compensation:
- Pay scale: Annual salary of $65,000-$80,000.
