Requirements: We are willing to train the right person. Must be willing and able to lift 150lbs. EPA Certification is not required, but recommended. Must have a strong knowledge of Electrical and Gas Equipment. We are a Service company that services Monterey and San Benito County. Availability must be flexible as an on-call shift rotates through Technicians.

Looking for experienced HVAC technicians for a well established HVAC, HVAC/R and FOOD SERVICE TECHNICIAN. 3-5 years experience preferred. LIGHT RESIDENTAL MOSTLY COMMERCIAL WORK. Year round work. Must be willing to work nights and weekends on call. Clean driving record and must have own tools. Truck will be provided. Commercial Service Company has an immediate need for an enthusiastic, self-motivated HVAC/R Technician Trainee. Successful candidates are organized, able to perform in a fast-paced environment, and able to efficiently multi-task. This is an hourly, non-exempt, at-will position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform routine maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools to inspect, repair, and conduct maintenance on furnaces, coils, and condenser units etc.
• Demonstrate Respect, Compassion and Integrity when communicating with clients
• Ability to communicate recommendations and services
• Demonstrate the ability to perform tasks in a timely manner in accordance with Commercial Service Company quality and safety standards
• Ability to demonstrate punctuality
• Participate in weekly meetings for continuing training and development

• Strong communication, sales and customer service skills
• Ability to work with high degree of integrity and promote positive company image
• Analytical, focused on quality, and results-driven
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions
• Excel within a team environment and willing to support all areas of our business
• Satisfactory passing of mandatory pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Valid driver's license, with minimal DMV infractions
• Proficiency with mobile devices (e.g. tablets, smart phones and/or other devices as required)

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

• Regularly required to use hands to finger, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
• Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-75lbs
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, climb, crouch or crawl
• Occasionally required to sit or balance
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception
• Moderate exposure to physical risk
• Work is performed in residential properties which may include attics, garages, crawl spaces and roof tops

Ability to diagnose, repair and service HVAC units of various sizes.
Read and understand wiring diagrams.
Ability to work independently.
Have your own hand tools.
Must be 18 years of age or older with a clean driving record
M-F 8:00-5:00PM
