Responsibilities:
Duties:
  • Performs service repair work on heating & air conditioning equipment and makes Quality Assurance visits to F.H. Furr installations
  • Performs preventative maintenance, routine adjustments to heating and air conditioning system controls and duct work as needed
  • When diagnosing equipment issues, assess the extent of repairs needed, and describes options to the customer in a comprehensive manner via an iPad. Service Titan knowledge a plus
  • Identifying, reporting, and educating homeowners about potential improvements to their current system (newer system, membership program, additional services, and products)
  • Complete required forms with accuracy on behalf of each customer per F.H. Furr standards to facilitate complete resolution of the issue discovered
  • Perform work in a safe manner to ensure all code compliances and safety measures are always taken
  • Actively participating in company-provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies
  • Emergency Service once every 5 weeks on weekends, and one weekday approximately every 26 days as required
  • Performs other duties as assigned when necessary
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma (or GED)
  • EPA HCFC Certification
  • A minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in HVAC Service repairs on residential heating and air conditioning systems, and mini splits a plus
  • Ability to work independently, maintain a “can do” approach and be a team player
  • Commitment to empathically serving customers needs with a good attitude
  • Effectively communicate issues, repairs, and recommendations to customers
  • Attention to detail, demonstrate speed, accuracy in the completion of all tasks
