Overview:
Under the leadership of the Implementation Manager, the Implementation Application Analyst is primarily responsible for the installation of HillChart’s Epic Community Connect Program. As a member or the HillChart implementation team, the Implementation Application Analyst works to scope, build, and test the Epic system for a practice installing HillChart. The Implementation Application Analyst also assists in practice readiness and go-live activities directly supporting practice staff in their preparation and first live use of HillChart. Intermediate level technical professional. Completes moderate complex work within a discipline or specialty area. Follows processes and checklists. Understands why the process is important, including the need for flexibility as common sense dictates. Shares feedback with process owners from personal experience. Works to resolve operational counterparts' issues. Presents options when available. Builds trust. Communicates with operations when requested features are available. Shares the "why" behind the recommendation or solution. Proactively addresses know Issues.
Specialization:
The Epic Ambulatory Implementation Analyst reporting to the manager of implementations specializes primarily in the clinical toolset of HillChart and responsible for activities and tasks related to deploying EpicCare Ambulatory to new clinical practices. The Implementation Analyst works with practice users to ensure that clinical enterprise health record (EHR) system needs are properly addressed and documented, through design, configuration, installation and optimization. Their role will have familiarity with physician practices' workflows, and patient experiences within the practice, understanding of a wide array of integration points, including scheduling, lab, and billing Care Everywhere, SmartForms, Meaningful Use, Specialty modules, etc.

- Establishes and continually seeks opportunities to increase positive customer relationships with physicians and practices in delivering effective solutions
- Adhering to project plan, evaluate, plan, configure, and install fairly complex system implementations to support physician practices and the business needs of the organization and operating units
- Facilitates working group sessions with physician practices to identify and drive requirements to improve operational workflows and processes
- Sets customer expectations, prioritizes tasks, and delivers solutions on time. Proposes solutions to problems and considers timeliness, effectiveness, and practicality in addressing practice’s needs
- Manages customer expectations and deliverables through meetings and phone calls. Prepares and delivers informative, well organized presentations and written reports
- Acting as the primary support contact for the application's end‐users during the implementation
- Provide software product function, design, and build expertise needed for successful product implementation.
- Identifies and communicates potential project and implementation issues and risks, plans for resolution and mitigation, and produces status updates to all stakeholders including customers and Management
- Guiding workflow design, building and testing the system, and analyzing other technical issues associated with Epic software ensuring design and configuration meets patient care and business needs
- Works with the I.S. team members, vendors and customers to ensure that the application systems are reliably tested, documented, and implemented. Serving as a liaison between end users' workflow needs and Hill’s application and technical analysts
- Maintaining regular communication with the implementation manager, including participating in regular project team meetings with physician practices
- Identifies areas for workflow and process optimization. Develops solutions and collaborates with the team and physician practices to implement these solutions.
- Responds promptly to the needs of end-users, and meets Service Level Agreements as defined in conjunction with our customers following issues through to closure.
- Participates in team and leadership meetings to discuss team and ongoing project related activities, issues, change, communications, and updates.
- No supervisory responsibility but may provide informal guidance to new team members

- Provides build and workflow recommendations to the team. Shares feedback with their peers.

Required Experience and Professional Skills
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in Healthcare industry and previous experience in required application discipline
- Experience with the Epic system applications highly required.
- Experience with implementation of Epic Community Connect
- Experience with project management fundamentals a plus
- Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment, prioritize multiple tasks, and problem solve under pressure of deadlines and resource constraints.

Education
- Master’s Degree preferred, minimum Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or Healthcare Administration or equivalent work experience

Salary Range
$88,700 - $116,400
