In Home Care Job at Garrett County Community Action
Garrett County Community Action Committee, Inc., Aging and Nutrition Services is seeking a part-time Content Specialist 3 to provide in-home care in the northern end of Garrett County. (McHenry, Accident, Friendsville, Grantsville and Finzel) Duties include providing light chore and/or personal care assistance for elderly individuals. The ideal candidate must enjoy working with the elderly, pass a background check and have received the COVID-19 vaccination or meet exemption criteria. A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation is required due to traveling to multiple homes each day. Mileage reimbursement is provided. This is a permanent position, approximately 24-30 hours per week. Pay is based on experience with a starting rate of $13.25 per hour. Working hours fall Monday-Friday between the hours of 8 A.M. and 4 P.M. This position includes Community Action benefits including a pension plan, paid holidays, floating holidays, vacation time, and sick time.
